Product features

Why choose the Vortex Washer

Built for leafy, cut and delicate products, combining circulating flow and debris filtration to balance cleaning performance with product integrity.

01

Vortex washing

Circulating water keeps the product moving and dispersed, thoroughly cleaning contaminants from surfaces and crevices.

02

Gentle product handling

Water-flow cleaning reduces compression and impact, making it suitable for leafy vegetables and delicate products.

03

Continuous debris removal

Continuous filtration removes soil, leaf fragments and floating debris to reduce contaminant recirculation.

04

Continuous discharge

After washing, the product is lifted automatically and can be spray-rinsed for easy connection to downstream processes.

Working principle

How continuous washing works in a vortex washer

Circulating water forms a vortex that disperses and turns the product before filtration and spray rinsing complete the wash.

Flow-guided feeding

After entering the tank, the product spreads evenly under the circulating flow to reduce local accumulation and compression.

Vortex tumbling wash

A continuous vortex keeps the product turning so soil, fragments and surface contaminants gradually detach.

Debris separation and filtration

Released soil, floating matter and fragments move into the separation and filtration area before the water is recirculated.

Elevating, rinsing and discharge

After washing, the product is lifted smoothly, spray-rinsed with fresh water and discharged continuously for easy connection to downstream processes.

Production fit

Configure a gentle washing solution around product characteristics

Use product size, fragility, cleanliness requirements and throughput to configure water-flow intensity, filtration and conveying structure.

01

Product characteristics

Match the guide-flow and conveying structure to the size, shape, buoyancy and fragility of leafy vegetables, cut vegetables and fresh-cut produce.

02

Washing requirements

Configure vortex intensity, filtration method and spray-rinsing structure around soil, fragments and other contaminants on the product.

03

Capacity requirements

Use hourly throughput and continuous feeding rhythm to determine the washing-tank size, conveying speed and circulating-water volume.

04

Production integration

Match lifting, blanching, dewatering, air-drying or packing equipment to the surrounding processes and transfer heights.

Project consultation
